What is LE Audio?
The specifications for LE Audio were completed in July 2022 as a redefinition of conventional Bluetooth Audio (Classic Audio). The main additional functions are the following two points.
Broadcast audio
Multiple people can share the same content by simultaneously transmitting from one audio source to multiple headphones.
LC3 codec
A new audio codec with high-quality and low-power consumption. Compared to the Classic Audio SBC codec, high-quality sound can be achieved even at low bit rates.
